After five hard years, the company was fully established with over five vehicles out on the road daily. Last year we extended the range of service we provided by pushing into the environmental side of the industry offering vacuum tankering services. This has proved to be a good venture for Abbey Drains as our vacuum tanker is now out on the road daily running alongside our high pressure jetting vehicles.

Looking back to when we started this venture in 2002, it was thought that the company had a great chance for success as there was a niche in the market for our type of application. We could offer you (the customer) a full comprehensive service with of course, no hidden charges. We take great pride in all work contracts carried out as we have high expectations for our company and the services we provide.

In our opinion, it certainly assists prospective customers to be able to talk to and relate to people who have been involved with the day to day running of the business, the problems, the solutions and of course advice on legislation that is encountered within the drain, sewerage and environmental industry.

We are fully committed to achieving the highest environmental standards during the course of our business activities. This policy statement is our commitment to managing those aspects of the business which are most likely to impact upon the local (and global) environment. Our minimum aim is to comply with legislation governing the environment. We will endeavour (at all times) to be aware of and comply with such legislation and guidelines wherever possible and we will continually monitor and improve our performance in relation to managing the environmental aspects of our business on an ongoing basis. The successful implementation of this policy will ensure both our environmental obligations and responsibilities are met.
